A walk in the woods
On this pleasantly comfortable November weekend I managed to get in a long walk — short-sleeves and all — through the autumn woods not far from my house.
It looks like I abandoned my poor little camera to the elements, and it snapped its shutter in a desperate effort to make noise. No, it was safe on a short tripod and I retrieved it quickly. I just wanted to try something a little out of my norm with this shot.
Was I seen doing this? Yeah. But it’s odd how unconcerned you become doing quirky things in public (like putting a camera on the ground in the woods and walking away) once you have an idea for a photograph.
